About SmAutomateAI

A small, deliberately narrow operation that builds AI lead response and intake systems for personal injury law firms, med spas, and cosmetic dental practices. This page explains who is behind it, what we have actually done, and what we have not — including the parts of our track record that need context.

What we do

We build and install AI lead response and intake systems for personal injury law firms, med spas, and cosmetic dental practices: voice and chat agents that answer calls and form fills the front desk cannot, qualify the lead against rules you set, capture the details your team needs, follow up when the first contact does not land, and book or route the work into your existing intake process.

We are not a phone platform, a call centre, or a self-serve SaaS product. The work is configuration and installation — building an intake flow around one practice's own script and criteria, testing it, and rolling it out narrowly. That model does not scale to thousands of customers, which is a deliberate choice rather than a stage we are hoping to grow out of.

We started this business doing the same underlying work for HVAC contractors, and we still do — the HVAC answering service pages on this site are not legacy content we forgot to remove, they are a vertical we continue to serve. Personal injury, med spa, and cosmetic dental intake are where we are focused now, because the same missed-call and slow-follow-up problem shows up there against much higher-value leads.

Who runs it

SmAutomateAI is run by Mahad Syed. Audits and installs are handled directly rather than passed to an account manager — the person you speak to on the audit call is the person who builds your call flow.

Our track record, in context

This matters, so we would rather be direct about it than let a logo strip imply something it should not.

Our earlier automation work was largely with small businesses in the Canary Islands, across several sectors — including Servifrío, a refrigeration and air conditioning company, alongside tour operators, wellness studios, and a local automation consultancy. That work involved the same underlying problem this business is built on: enquiries arriving outside working hours, through channels nobody was watching, and quietly going nowhere.

What that means honestly:

  • The urgency-triage experience is real, and it is where the qualification logic in our current intake flows for law firms, med spas, and dental practices originally came from — deciding what counts as time-sensitive and routing it accordingly is the same underlying skill regardless of industry.
  • Most of the client logos on our homepage are not personal injury firms, med spas, or dental practices, and several are not US businesses. They demonstrate that we have shipped working automation for real companies, including an HVAC and refrigeration business we still serve today. They do not demonstrate a long history of installs in our current focus verticals, and we are not going to present them as though they do.
  • We do not publish client results as percentages. Where you see numbers on this site, they are clearly labelled as models built from inputs you supply, not outcomes we have achieved for someone else.

If you want references before committing, ask on the audit call. If we do not yet have a directly comparable reference for your vertical and market, we will say so.

How we work

  • Audit before pitch. The first conversation is about what your call logs actually show. If the leak does not justify the cost, we say so — that outcome is common and it is a cheaper conversation than an install that never pays back.
  • Test before live. Nothing speaks to a real customer until your team has tried to break it and you have approved how it handles calls.
  • Narrow before wide. Coverage starts with the calls you are already losing, so the comparison is against voicemail rather than against your best CSR.
  • Reversible by you. Coverage is a call-forwarding rule on your own phone system. You can take it back without our involvement, at any time.

What we will not claim

The AI answering-service category has a truth problem, and we would rather lose a deal than contribute to it. So, explicitly:

  • We do not quote invented industry statistics. Where the commonly cited HVAC missed-call figures come from — and how few of them survive scrutiny — is documented on our research page.
  • We do not claim native integrations we have not built for your specific setup.
  • We do not promise a revenue increase. Nobody selling this can honestly promise that, because the outcome depends on your capacity, your market, and your close rate, none of which we control.
  • We do not publish testimonials or case studies we cannot substantiate.

The free missed-call audit is a genuine audit, not a sales call with a different name. Bring a week of call logs and you will leave with a real number regardless of whether you buy anything.
